Visitor's Pass
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has authorized LFT to allow vetted members of the community to visit and explore our terminal. A Visitor’s Pass can be obtained from the airport to allow the bearer to proceed through the security checkpoint to explore non-secure areas of the terminal, watch aircraft take off and land, and even eat at the Acadiana Kitchen + Bar beyond the security checkpoint.
Each Visitor’s Pass is good for one day and you will be admitted using your Real ID compliant driver’s license or passport. Visitor’s Badges will no longer be issued. Only ten (10) passes will be issued each day and will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis.
Visitor’s Passes are available only Monday through Friday with advance completion of an application and submittal of a copy of your Real ID compliant driver’s license or passport, at least 48-hours prior to use. Each Visitor’s Pass holder will be vetted and must be approved before admission will be allowed. Please sign in with the Airport Receptionist when you apply for your Visitor’s Pass. You can also email the form and a copy of your Real ID compliant driver’s license or passport to airport@lftairport.com.
Visitor’s Passes for Saturday or Sunday require a 72-hour submittal prior to admission.
Any questions concerning the Visitor’s Pass process, pick up, drop off or vetting should be directed to the Airport Security Coordinator by calling 337-703-4800.
