Visitor's Pass

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has authorized LFT to allow vetted members of the community to visit and explore our new terminal. A Visitor’s Pass can be obtained from the airport to allow the bearer to proceed through the security checkpoint to explore non-secure areas of the terminal, watch aircraft take off and land, and even eat at the Acadiana Kitchen + Bar beyond the security checkpoint.

Each Visitor’s Pass is good for one day and can be picked up from the Airport Administrative Office or at the Airport Security/Police Office on the second floor of the terminal on the day of the visit. Only ten (10) passes will be issued each day and will be issued on a first-come-first-served basis.

Visitor Passes are available only Monday through Friday with advance completion of an application and submittal of a copy of your Driver’s License, at least 48-hours prior to use. Each Visitor Pass holder will be vetted and must be approved before a pass can be issued.  Please sign in with the Airport Receptionist when you apply for your Visitor’s Pass. You can also email the form and a copy of your driver’s license to airport@lftairport.com.

Visitor Passes for Saturday or Sunday require a 72-hour submittal prior to use. Weekend passes must be picked up at the Airport Police Office, Room 204, rather than from the Airport Receptionist and must also be used on the date issued.

All Visitor Passes must be returned to the Administration Office Receptionist Monday through Friday during business hours. On weekends and after business hours Visitor Passes must be returned to the Airport Police Office, Room 204.  Failure to timely return a Visitor Pass at the end of your visit on the same day will result in a $50 fine.

Any questions concerning the Visitor Pass process, pick up, drop off or vetting should be directed to the Airport Security Coordinator by calling 337-703-4800.
